Furniture and Things delivers pillows of happiness!
We give a heartfelt THANK YOU to Furniture and Things in Elk River for their recent donation of 40 quality pillows for residents. A pillow is an everyday item at the shelter, and having a nice, comfortable pillow is seen as a luxury. Lead Shelter Advocate Zoey Braaten let us know that she had so many residents greeting her with smiles and asking for a new pillow.
Joy at the shelter comes in many forms, and often, it’s the everyday items we take for granted but our residents may never have had. Even a pillow.
We always need basic bedding items such as pillows and blankets. If you’d like to get involved this way, just drop your donations off at the shelter any time. You can always check our web page for our current list of most needed items.
