Bring some extra joy to residents at Stepping Stone Emergency Housing this holiday season!
GIVE ITEMS
One of the best ways to care for our residents this holiday season is to donate items! Below is a list of our priority items. The priority items we’re collecting this holiday season are winter hats, scarves, winter boots (mens size 10 & 11 preferred), gloves, $25 gift cards (Kwik Trip, Target, or Walmart), and hand warmers.

If you have any questions or want to coordinate a pick-up, please contact Rob at rob.bergfalk@steppingstoneeh.org or 612-710-2835. Click the button below for directions for drop-off. No need to schedule a time, you can just show up 24/7. We’d like to have items by 12/14 at the latest!
GIVE TIME
The holidays can be isolating for people experiencing homelessness, and one of the most meaningful ways to care for our residents is to spend time with them. Whether it’s serving as a group or individually and whether you serve a meal, play games, organize a craft party or something else….we’d love the gift of your presence this holiday season!
To serve in this way, contact Jeff at jeff.conner@steppingstoneeh.org or 763-370-5744.
GIVE A MEAL
We all enjoy eating a good meal around the holidays! We have 60 residents for both lunch and dinner, and it is such a blessing anytime a meal is donated! Below are the most common ways people provide meals. Keep in mind that we are not licensed for you to bring your own ingredients to cook.
- Cook a meal off-site in a licensed kitchen (church, event center).
- Cook purchased retail foods onsite, but they must be unopened and labeled (Take and Bake Lasagna, Costco, Simek’s).
- Bring or have delivered food from a restaurant. (Pizza Ranch in Andover offers a discount if you mention us.)
We provide plates, utensils, and beverages when a meal is donated. We are happy to provide more if needed. In the interest of respecting all our resident’s needs, we ask that you refrain from pork products of any kind.
One need we have that we’d love for you to meet is providing lunches/dinners January 1 – January 5, 2024. Our cafeteria manager, Jason, will be gone and we’d love to have donated meals during those days.
