We’re proud to partner with Washington County to launch the Emergency Housing Services Building (EHSB) — a 30-unit emergency housing facility in Stillwater. With your help, we’re bringing hope and dignity to more of our neighbors. (Photo courtesy of Washington County EHSB Project Camera.)
Accommodation and housing for residents experiencing homelessness
All people in Washington County deserve a safe and dignified place to live. That’s why Stepping Stone Emergency Housing is honored to partner with Washington County in launching a new emergency shelter and support program based out of the soon-to-be-completed Emergency Housing Services Building (EHSB) on the Government Center campus in Stillwater.
The EHSB is a purpose-built facility where Stepping Stone will provide 24/7 emergency shelter and supportive services for adults experiencing homelessness. The space includes 30 private rooms, onsite case management, and access to holistic care — all grounded in dignity, safety, and compassion.
Support community members
As the cost of housing goes up, more people don’t have a stable place to live. Washington County is dealing with the challenge of providing emergency housing to address the growing homelessness crisis. Without sufficient emergency housing, people become more vulnerable and their quality of life suffers.
What’s Needed
The building is under construction now, but a house is only part of the solution. We need your help to turn this space into a **home**.
Donations will help us:
– Hire and train 24/7 staff
– Provide food, hygiene, and care essentials
– Cover start-up and operational costs
How to Support Our Washington County Expansion
💚 Support Our Washington County Shelter This Give to the Max Day
Give to the Max Day is your chance to help us welcome new residents to the EHSB — our brand-new shelter in Washington County. Your gift supports shelter beds, trauma-informed care, and advocates who walk alongside each resident on their path to stability.
See the Progress
Together, we can build more than a facility — we can build **a future rooted in dignity, love, and community**.
Thank you for being part of this new chapter.
