Ten volunteers came out on Saturday, November 6, (what a GORGEOUS day!) to use their muscles in removing from the shelter overused or broken furniture and equipment.

Thank you volunteers who worked so hard

While our residents are all sheltering at a nearby hotel (due to a COVID outbreak, we needed to act fast and social distance our residents), we took the opportunity to do some long overdue cleaning at the shelter. We gave a shout out for volunteers, and ten arrived to help us!

Special thanks to Walters Recycling and Refuse

Walter Recycling and Refuse donated the use of a 30 ft. roll-off and in 30 minutes, we were finished and the roll-off was full! Thanks to each volunteer who helped. We really couldn’t have done this without you.
