Don has been a member of the Stepping Stone Board since 2022. He has been in the banking industry more than 40 years in the areas of management; business banking, to include middle-market; commercial real estate to include multi-family; industrial; office; and warehouse. Other areas include asset-based lending, nursing homes, and multi consumer products. Don started his banking career at U.S. Bank (FKA First Bank System) for 14 years, then Century Bank, and the last 20 years with MidWestOne Bank managing the Northern Market at their Coon Rapids location. In addition to a Management and Finance Degree, Don recently retired from the local SBA Development Company, known as Central Minnesota Development Company, after 25 plus years. He has sat on various other local boards including Mercy & Unity Hospitals Foundation, Anoka County Humane Society, Blaine Area Development Company, as well as others. Don is a U.S. Navy veteran and has been a resident of Anoka County for over 40 years.
