Chuck Philipsek

My compassion and concern over the growing homelessness crisis drew me to Stepping Stone.  Initially my primary involvement with the shelter has been serving as lead landscaper/gardener. Over the past several years the front of the shelter has been re-landscaped and the raised vegetable beds have been revitalized. Resident volunteers now enthusiastically tend the grounds and gardens.

Before beginning my “ second career “ as Master Gardener, I spent most of my legal career as a corporate attorney for a national real estate data company. I gained significant experience in range of fields beyond real estate law including mergers and acquisitions, regulatory compliance, and corporate governance.

In joining the board of directors, I am seeking to utilize my legal and  life experience in advancing the  critical mission and vision of Stepping Stone.
