Terri Munson
Former HUD Resolution Specialist
Terri comes to the Board with over 20 years of experience at HUD, monitoring all aspects of troubled Project Based Section 8 and/or FHA insured apartments. While her focus was low-income housing, increases in housing costs, income gaps, and the number of families at risk of losing their homes moved her attention to the unhoused. The comprehensive approach Stepping Stone takes of addressing barriers to housing while providing stable housing caught her attention and heart.
Since the fall of 2025, Terri has volunteered at Stepping Stone and more recently began staffing the clothing closet at the Stillwater location. She enjoyed watching the residents become a community, rooting for and helping each other along their way. The vulnerability, faithfulness and persistence of the residents humbles her. She is honored to be a small part of their experience and joined the Board in an effort to further support them and the mission. In her free time she enjoys gardening, spending time with family and traveling.
