Samantha Alter joined Stepping Stone Emergency Housing as a Case Manager in December of 2021. Her background in youth work and outreach, as well as an extensive history in the field of education, make her an excellent addition to our team. She is passionate about working with individuals experiencing housing instability and homelessness, working hard to support our residents in breaking down barriers and achieving their goals. She is devoted to equality and inclusivity, with a history of working especially close with the LGBTQ+ community. She, her partner Sorin, and their Jack Russel-chihuahua Genevieve recently moved into their home in Coon Rapids, and Samantha loves that she can be directly connected to work supporting her own neighbors. She is excited to see her future unfurl at Stepping Stone and to continue to build community and connections in Anoka County.
