Help bring the joy of Christmas to our residents!

This year, like so many things in our lives, we are adjusting how we celebrate the Christmas holiday with residents. In the past, we set up our Santa Shoppe in which each resident would pick out gifts for themselves or loved ones. The generosity of so many, truly brought the joy of Christmas into all of our hearts.

Though this year will be different, we still need your help in bringing Christmas to our residents! Would you consider donating a gift card? We’re asking you to donate one or more $25 gift cards to either Target or Walmart.

Please know that your gift card means so much more to a resident…it means the gift of choice. The choice to purchase something for themselves or for a loved one. The choice to choose the blue sweater or the red one. The choice to buy that book, CD, or movie that they never thought they could own. Christmas can be a difficult and lonely season for anyone, but especially for those who are experiencing homelessness. Together, especially with your help this year, we will make it a special time for our Stepping Stone residents!

Here is what we are asking:

  • Gift cards (plastic, not electronic) to Walmart or Target (click store name for link)
  • Value of $25 or more
  • Give a donation online or text SSEHGIFTCARD to 41444 to be used specifically for us to purchase Walmart and Target gift cards

Your gift card donation can be conveniently dropped off at one of our partner locations starting Friday, November 27 until close of business on Tuesday, December 22. All banks listed below will be accepting gift cards through their drive-thru, so no contact delivery! Click locations for directions.

We can’t do this alone!
